How to use the insert function of an ISA 828 MkII

Applies to: ISA 828 MKII + ADN8

To use the inserts of the ISA 828 MkII, you will need the ISA ADN8 Eight Channel A-D card.

When "Insert" is engaged on a particular channel, the input source of the digital card will be affected (see diagram).

• With "Insert" disengaged, the digital output from the ADN8 will mirror the analogue output of the channel.
• with "Insert" engaged, the digital output from the ADN8 is sourced from the signal being sent into the "A-D external inputs 1-8" (see diagram above)
