This article describes compatibility for Focusrite Pro products on macOS versions. Select your version below to see details. Information can be found for both Apple silicon-based (also known as M1, M2, and so on) and Intel-based systems.

Our testing was conducted using various beta versions, the “Golden Master” and ultimately the release version of each macOS version.
Products marked “Untested but likely to work” are cases where:
- A product was either not available during the testing phase of this operating system (we typically test on the two previous two operating system builds ahead of a product's release)
- Had been discontinued, and no longer tested upon the operating system's release.
Please check all other software and hardware you use to make music is also compatible before updating; never update your operating system during the middle of a time-critical project. Based on experience, we would generally advise waiting for a few months after the release of any new operating system before updating, in case any initial issues need to be patched.

Please note, we have tested our products independently of Audinate's Dante Controller and Dante Virtual Soundcard applications - you can check the compatibility status of these pieces of software on the Audinate website.

macOS Sequoia 15
PCIe or PCIeR - We have done limited testing on Sequoia with Intel systems and currently can not guarantee you will not experience issues with the PCIe or PCIeR cards when using Sequoia

macOS Sonoma 14.6.1. - Red Range Thunderbolt & PCIeNX
On macOS Sonooma 14.6.1. we have been made aware of an issue with some mac systems where our Thunderbolt driver will not correctly load, this issue is currently being investigated. Currently, we recommend Red Range interface users and RedNet PCIeNX customers do not update to macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.
This issue has been fixed by Apple in the newest version of Sonoma, any effected customers should update to macOS Sonoma 14.7
