New:

  • Mixer channel count increased from 30 to 32 inputs.

  • RedNet Control 2.8.6 delivers a firmware update for all Focusrite Red interfaces which expands the onboard mixer with two additional input and output channels for operating modes between 44.1kHz and 96kHz. After installing this firmware update, please apply factory defaults to your Red interface to activate the new mixer channels.

  • IMPORTANT - Please save a snapshot of your Red or RedNet R1 device (File > Device Save) before restoring factory defaults. You can then load the snapshot to active the new mixer channels, whilst retaining your current settings (Save > Device Load).

Latency reporting has been improved to be within ±1 sample.

Bug Fix: Pro Tools HDX session no longer opens at 192kHz.
Bug Fix: Pro Tools HDX Output 1-2 no longer outputs from unselected channels.
